About Us
Secure Computing Systems, Inc., established in 1989, is a software development firm headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana.
After Hurricane Katrina, President and Owner, Mr. Leo J. Radosta, realized the need for a software system to track at-risk individuals in the event of an emergency evacuation. He partnered with Mr. Jamey Boudreaux, President of the Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, to work together to develop the At Risk Registry. After the original version, Henry Yennie, Program Manager, Emergency Preparedness for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals got involved and helped to introduce new features and concepts to replace the aging, paper-based system already in place.
Originally utilized by hospice agencies in the Gulf Coast region in 2008, the At Risk Registry was later mandated by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals in 2009. Use of the At Risk Registry has continued to expand, and Secure Computing Systems, Inc. hopes to soon protect all at-risk individuals nationwide.
